NOTE - Heartland's main appointment booking system is back online, so I am no longer taking appointments through this page. Please refer to your section below for information about how to book your appointment.
New Students (Starting in Summer or Fall 2021) - During your 90-minute appointment, we will walk through a new student checklist to make sure that you have everything done that needs to be done. We will make sure that you understand your program requirements, give you a tour of your myHeartland account, and help you to register for classes. Use these links to set up an appointment:

Current HCC Students - If you began at Heartland in Spring 2021, you should meet with John (or the advisor with whom you originally registered, if different) prior to registering. Other current students are also encouraged to set up an appointment if you need help with picking out classes or want to confirm your degree progress. Choose to meet in-person or remotely via Zoom. FCHS, PTHS, and PCHS Juniors & Seniors - we encourage you to book an appointment with HCC Pontiac's Academic Advisor, Dr. John Salzer, during one of your work-from-home days or after school. Whether you plan to attend Heartland, to attend a 4-year school, to attend a trade school, to enter the military, to be a home-maker, or to head full-time into the workforce, John is here to help you with your after-high-school transition. You can choose a remote appointment using Zoom or an in-person appointment. You may sign up with a friend. To make that appointment, call (815) 842-6777 or e-mail a few options for dates and times to john.salzer@heartland.edu.
